Nigerian ace singer, songwriter, and performer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has broken a Billboard Hot 100 record that was set by Afrobeats megastar Wizkid.
Starboy frontline act and owner, Wizkid, formerly held the record for the highest charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100 after his smash tune ‘Essence,’ which featured ace Nigerian songstress Tems and Canadian popstar Justin Bieber, peaked at the No. 9 position on the chart.
The singer’s global hit ‘Calm Down,” which features Selena Gomez, peaked at the No. 8 position, making it the highest charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart so far.
